 John gained a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. During his time at BIMM he was taught by world renowned tutors including: Guthrie Govan, Jamie Humphries, Steve Allsworth, and Phil Hilbourne and performed with many top names in the industry such as Ace (Skunk Anansie), Jason Knight (Reef), Rob Green (Toploader), Paul Winterhart and Alonza Bevan (Kula Shaker), and Ozzy Osbourne (!) John has played in a number of shows including: Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables, Parade, Jekyll and Hyde, Fame, and Little Shop of Horrors. In addition to playing with RetrOactive John also teaches and gigs around the UK with “The Big Swing” and “Funky Gorgeous”
