Simon took up the piano at an early age and his studies culminated in gaining an honours degree in music at Southampton University. He now works as a freelance keyboard player and musical director. His work has taken him around the world and he has worked in a wide variety of situations, but recent years have mainly seen him working in theatre in London’s West End. His most recent position was as Associate Musical Director of Cabaret at the Lyric theatre. He is very much in demand as a keyboard player and other recent professional productions include: Hairspray, We Will Rock You, Never Forget, The Wedding Singer, Blood Brothers, Tell Me On A Sunday, Whistle Down The Wind, Doctor Dolittle and Starlight Express.
